Contract Award for 1450mm Hot Strip Rolling Project by Donghua Iron & Steel
In October of 2021, Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel MECC) was awarded the contract by Tangshan Donghua Iron & Steel Group (Donghua Iron & Steel) for the 1450mm hot strip rolling project, with annual capacity of 3 million tons of HRC, of which, half million tons are provided for cold rolling, 2 million tons for sale and the rest half million tons will be pickled.
Flue gas purification technology applied to heating furnace and dedusting for roughing mill and finishing mill ensure the energy saving and clean production.

Donghua Iron & Steel produces high-end bar and coild rebar with the most varieties in North China. Sinosteel MECC have started cooperation with Donghua Iron & Steel since 2014, when Sinosteel MECC contracted two 600,000tpa high speed wire rolling lines. This April, the 2300m3 blast furnace built by Sinosteel MECC was successfully hot commissioned and achieved design capacity in only three days.
